A little know museum with a abundance of historical information. I loved the "Saga of the Cimarron" newspaper article in the room to the left as you enter. It is an interview with Thomas Braidwood by a reporter from the Daily Oklahoman in 1929 just before he died in a flu epidemic. Thomas Braidwood was my Great Grandfather, I have his Winchester rifle he used in some of the events he was involved in and described in the article.

This museum is full of amazing stories for the families and friends who used to live or are living on the panhandle of Oklahoma. The artifacts here make me more appreciative of the cultural richness of the people in this part of OK

By the way, your internet address was returned, when I tried to make contact regarding some artifacts, logs and journals I want to donate. I will make a call and see how that goes.
